ship wine

Updated December, 2011

Shipping Address:  230 West Street
Waitsburg, WA   99361

When mailing wines, please use cardboard shippers. No styrofoam of any kind! Please confirm your proposed shipping dates via e-mail BEFORE you send the wines to be sure I will be available to sign for your packages.

For each and every individual winery or winery brand, please submit new releases just twice a year. You may submit at any two convenient times, as I taste and review wines year round. Please send one bottle only if it uses a screwcap or glass or composite cork closure, two bottles for standard corks.

Washington and Oregon wineries please be sure to include the updated Wine Enthusiast submission form (with space for UPC numbers). You may download it here:

Please include technical info (blends, vineyard sources, etc.), suggested retail pricing, case quantities, % of alcohol, and the release date. The name (or names) of your Washington state distributor(s) are very important also!

Wines are tasted under controlled conditions in peer group blind flights. One submission is sufficient for consideration for all the different print and online outlets to which I contribute. Please do NOT re-submit wines a second time. If you have any concerns or questions, you may reach me at

Many thanks!

upcoming performances

Waitsburg I am pleased to be debuting the Wicker Chair Rhinos with my musical partner Larry Davidson. We offer a fine mix of original singer/songwriter material and classic blooz and country – great songs from the 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's... you get the idea. Along with choice selections from my own songbook (at one time I was signed to a Nashville publishing company; I have also worked and recorded at Electric Lady Studios in Manhattan and many Seattle studios). In previous bands I have played at Ste. Michelle's Auction Week Picnic, at Wine Rocks and other wine and music events in Seattle, at the Triple Door, and at many wineries and tasting rooms in Walla Walla, Waitsburg, Dayton and the Tri-Cities. Larry is a guitar player's guitar player – from Keith Richards riffs to the sweetest country licks, he's da man! The Rhinos web page is You'll find live and studio recordings, notes on upcoming gigs, and an easy to use calendar for booking us. Give us a chance and we'll make you and your friends happy!

Paul Gregutt’s Wine Adviser column appears each Sunday in the Seattle Times Pacific magazine. A different column runs the last Wednesday of each month in the Spokane Spokesman-Review. I am the Northwest editor for Wine Enthusiast magazine, and a founding member of its Tasting Panel. My reviews of Oregon and Washington wines appear exclusively in that publication and on this website.
